Coach Poole has been a teacher and coach at Rockdale County High School for 3 years. He teaches 12th grade Economics and currently coaches the Varsity Running Backs. He is also the Freshman Offensive Coordinator.

Coach Poole has been married for 2 years to his wife, Amanda, and has a one year-old daughter, Madalyn Belle Poole. Amanda is also a teacher. She has a bachelor's degree from North Georgia College and State University, and is currently pursuing her Master's Degree at Mercer University.
